Sachal Jazz Ensemble – an international collaboration of musicians from Pakistan, UK and India combines western instruments with sitar, sarod, tabla and dholak, breathing new life into well known bossa nova and jazz standards including The Girl from Ipanema, Desafinado and Dave Brubeck’s legendary Take Five, which he said was, ‘the most interesting and different recording of Take Five that I’ve heard.’ The ensemble is on their debut national tour in India, and will showcase the best of East meets West that won’t fail to delight!
